How To Manually Erase Data Files from the Apollo

TO MANUALLY ERASE DATA FILES FROM THE APOLLO

 

NOTE: USE THIS FEATURE ONLY IF YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU WANT TO ERASE THE MEMORY. ALL DATA WILL BE LOST. THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE, AND ONCE THE PROCESS IS UNDERWAY, YOU CANNOT STOP IT

  • Power On the Apollo Vehicle Traffic Counter / Classifier
  • Press the ALT key and LEFT ARROW together (this will take the operator to the ‘Advanced Selections’ menu)
  • Using the RIGHT ARROW key, toggle to ‘DELETE FILES’, the press ENTER
  • The APOLLO will display the following message:  'ERASE ENTIRE FLASH MEMORY?', followed by the word 'No' (this is the factory default)
  • To erase data, press either ARROW key to toggle to 'Yes' and press ENTER
  • You will notice a progress indicator in the lower right of the Apollo display (in percentage of process)
  • Once complete you will see the word 'SUCCESS' and be returned to the ‘Advanced Selections’ Menu
  • Next cycle power on the Apollo to be taken to the Set Up Menu for your next data study
