Piezo Termination for UPP units.

Terminating Piezo sensors usually is done one of two ways. Either the termination is done using a terminal block and then connected to the counter  using the UPP piezo harness or by individual BNC connectors.   With the Terminal strips the wiring must be done on site to "land" the piezo sensors to a terminal block and then "land" the Harness to plug into the UPP counter. With the BNC connectors the counter must have BNC style inputs or a breakout box or converter must be used.

When terminating the Piezo sensors the piezo sensor cable will most likely be a coax cable which will need to be wired to a terminal as in the diagram below.  With BNC connectors the BNC connectors themselves must be attached in the field.
